This is the short version of how I got from there to building accessible technology. A through-line, not a CV.

// The journey
Sweetshop → Coding → Web → Accessibility → AI → Next
01
Sweetshop
I grew up working in my family's sweetshop. It taught me how a small business really runs, and it is where the AI Sweetshop name comes from.
02
Coding
I got into coding and computers young. Technology has shaped how I think for a long time, well before the current wave of AI.
03
Web
Coding turned into building websites and digital experiences, where technical craft met visual thinking.
04
Accessibility
As a Deaf person, accessibility became central to how I think about technology and communication. That grew into communication access, inclusive digital work and the SignWave ecosystem.
05
AI
Now I work at the intersection of AI and accessibility, under the positioning AI accessibility innovator: communication access, sign language technology and Deaf-led products.
The mix
The work spans a few connected things.
Signect
A Deaf-led communication-access platform.

SignWave AI
AI, sign language and accessibility experiments.
SignWave Creative
